Dallas, Texas — Texas Lone Star SC is proud to announce the appointment of Renato Cuen Caballero as Assistant Coach of the WPSL team, joining Head Coach Armando Pelaez.
Renato brings a wealth of experience in player development, scouting, and international football, with a proven track record of identifying and advancing talent at the highest levels of the game. Over the years, he has built a global pathway for aspiring players, helping guide more than 75 athletes into the professional ranks across Europe, North America, and beyond.That vision led to the creation of Futbico, a platform dedicated to player development and international placement, where Renato has continued to expand opportunities for the next generation of talent.
Among the players he has helped develop and place in recent years are Andre Franco (FC Porto), Sampson Dweh (FC Viktoria Plzen), Renan Brainer (Nacional Atlético Clube), Aiden Wostl (FC Dallas), Martin Krug (Levante UD), Jesus Ramirez (Vitória Guimarães), Yudai Tachiro (Delfines del Este), Memo Díaz (Oakland Roots), and Luisinho (Flamurtari FC).
His coaching career spans respected organizations including Tigres UANL, Rayados, Delfines del Este (First Division), Racing Dallas FC, and Dallas Rovers FC, where he has held both assistant and head coaching roles. In addition to his club experience, Renato has also served as a scouting consultant for the Liberia National Team, further highlighting his global reach and expertise in player identification.
Renato has also gained valuable international insight through collaborations with top European clubs such as Sporting CP, Benfica, Levante UD, and Eto Gyor.
Holding a UEFA A License and UEFA Elite Scout certification, Renato is widely recognized for his modern approach to the game, strong leadership, and commitment to developing players both on and off the field.
