Dallas, Texas — Texas Lone Star S.C. continues to make its mark in its inaugural Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Division I season, as three players have been recognized by the league for their outstanding performances.
Defender Kennedy Green has been named the WPSL Central Region’s Defender of the Week, while forward Gracie Spradley earned Offensive Player Honorable Mention, and goalkeeper Bailee Bisson received Goalkeeper Honorable Mention.
The trio’s recognition comes on the heels of several strong performances that have helped Texas Lone Star S.C. continue building momentum during its first season in one of the nation’s most competitive pre-professional women’s leagues and conferences.
Green anchored the Texas Lone Star backline with composure, leadership, and timely defensive interventions, consistently limiting opposing scoring opportunities while helping organize the team’s defensive shape.
Spradley continued to showcase her attacking quality and determination, creating dangerous opportunities in the final third and delivering key offensive contributions, including her dramatic late equalizer that helped Texas Lone Star secure a valuable point over the Ft. Worth.
Bisson, one of the youngest goalkeepers in the league, (17-years-old) once again demonstrated poise beyond her years with several critical saves and commanding performances between the posts, continuing to establish herself as one of the league’s rising talents.
“This recognition is a reflection of the commitment, character, and work ethic our players display every day,” said General Manager and Head Coach Brad Namdar. “While these honors recognize individual performances, they are ultimately a testament to our entire squad. The growth of our program has been evident throughout the season, and we’re proud to see our players receiving the recognition they have earned.”
Principal Owner Pia Lara Namdar added, “We are incredibly proud of Kennedy, Gracie, and Bailee. These honors reflect not only their individual talent but also the culture our organization is building. As a first-year club, seeing multiple players recognized by the league validates the direction of our program and the commitment our athletes and staff have made to our vision.”
Co-Owner Ryan Moore echoed those sentiments, saying, “Having three players honored by the WPSL is another important milestone for Texas Lone Star S.C. These awards demonstrate that our athletes are competing at a very high level, and we believe there is even more to come as this program continues to grow.”
As Texas Lone Star S.C. continues its inaugural WPSL campaign, these league honors further reinforce the club’s commitment to providing players with a platform to develop, compete, and pursue opportunities at the next level while establishing one of the premier women’s soccer programs in Texas.
